User Filesystem and Default servers Marc Dirix <marc[at]electronics-design[dot]nl> 19-12-2008
Hello,

Currently I'm trying to add a user filesystem with virtual user hosting
enabled. e.g. http://marc.foo.com is the url for user "marc".

For url's that also point to the same server, or clients who don't yet
have a website
I have a default server setup. Where all url's not having a virtual
server are
send to.

The problem is, that roxen does not detect marc.foo.com as part of the
foo.com virtual
server. And opens the default virtual server. If I disable this
default server,
then everything works as espected.

Next I have tried to add *.foo.com to the virtual servers URLs under
ports.
This leads to opening the page I also get when opening "http://www.foo.com
",
which is the main page. Also changing priority has no effect.

So I'm lost. I don't really want to disable the default server,
because then I don't
know where non-existing dns records lead to. IIRC it get's directed to
the first active
virtual server, or last.

Any thoughts?

If I wanted to fix this. Should I fix the first setup (with default
server, and no *.foo.com URL
set). Or the latter.

Best regards,

Marc Dirix
