Ok,

Doing some further testing it seems that adding  
&client.authenticated; to every page solves the problem. Probably  
then the variable is updated from the authentication module.

Is there a way to do this explicit in the module I'm creating? Having  
to put &client.authenticated; in every page not very handsom.
